The project was to create a cereal box loosely based on a historical figure and the cereal was to solve a problem they had in life. My concept was a cereal box based on Edgar Allan Poe and his poems and short stories. The problem my cereal solves is when you eat it, the "marshmellows" give you clairvoyance to see how you face death on a daily basis, allowing you to avoid an untimely demise.

One could speculate that this could also lead to developing a dependency on and a sense of paranoia of living without the cereal, tying together the dark themes of Poe's writings.
